At Grace and Truth Church we value church membership. Many people today ask, “Why become a member?” That is because the local church is the visible expression of the invisible church, which is the body of Christ. Our commitment to the local assembly is an expression of our commitment to Jesus Christ. Jesus identifies himself with the members of the local body, (Matt. 25:38-40, Acts 9:4-5, 1 Cor. 8:12, 1 Tim. 3:15). Ultimately Membership is about identifying with a local church of like-mind where one can demonstrate their love for Christ by serving the church community using their God-given talents. By doing so the church is built up and God is glorified.

If you are interested in becoming a member, we suggest you attend Grace and Truth for a season to see if our values line up with yours and then attend a membership class, which is given periodically. After attending a membership class one can decide whether or not to proceed with becoming a member.
